Sleep well
again.

Snoring and sleep apnea can often be treated effectively with a custom-made oral appliance. It has helped many of my patients achieve restful sleep and a noticeably better quality of life.

No
one-size-fits-all solutions.

Every treatment begins with a thorough assessment and is tailored to your individual situation. My goal is long-term stability — not the quick fix, but the right one.

Ein starkes
network.

Good sleep is teamwork: I work closely with ENT specialists, pulmonologists, sleep laboratories and general practitioners — for diagnostics and treatment from a single source.

«Good sleep and healthy teeth belong together for me. Both deserve care, experience — and an open ear for the person behind them.»

    FAQ

    Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find answers to questions I am frequently asked. I am happy to answer your personal question by email or in conversation.

In many cases, yes. A so-called mandibular advancement device keeps the airway open during sleep and can effectively treat snoring as well as mild to moderate sleep apnea.
For severe sleep apnea, ventilation therapy (CPAP) is the first-line treatment. However, if you cannot tolerate it, a mandibular advancement device can provide relief as a second-line therapy. Whether an appliance is suitable for you is something we determine together, in coordination with a specialist.

We take the time for an in-depth conversation about your symptoms and your sleep situation. This is followed by a thorough examination of your teeth, jaw and bite as well as — if appropriate — a digital scan. I then discuss the findings and possible treatment options with you, transparently and without time pressure.

This depends on the individual case, in particular on the sleep medicine diagnosis and your insurance situation. Before treatment begins, we clarify coverage with your insurer on your behalf. In most cases, there is nothing you need to take care of yourself.

Nighttime grinding and clenching (bruxism) can place considerable strain on the teeth, jaw joint and muscles. A custom-made splint protects the teeth and relieves the jaw joint. A careful examination will show whether — and which — splint makes sense for you.

With good care, a high-quality, custom-made appliance usually lasts several years. Regular check-ups — typically once or twice a year — ensure that the appliance continues to fit and work optimally. This long-term support is an integral part of my treatment concept.

    Restful sleep. Healthy teeth.
